The EIT research team consists of :
Pekka Santtila is a professor of Legal Psychology at the Abo Akademi University, Finland. He is the author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications and several books and book chapters. In his research professor Santtila has focused on multiple aspects of the phenomenon of child sexual abuse looking at interview quality, decision-making processes, prevalence of child sexual abuse as well as the prevalence and etiology of pedophilia.
Angelo Zappalà is a psychologist, psychotherapist and clinical criminologist. He has extensive experience evaluating child sexual abuse cases and offenders in the Italian context. He is also an honorary judge at the Tribunal for Minors in Turin, Italy. His research has focused on diagnosing pedophilic sexual interest.
Francesco Pompedda has graduated from the University of Turin, Italy and is currently pursuing his PhD in psychology at the Abo Akademi University, Turku, Finland, looking at the EIT paradigm.
